The New Fiction View of Models

How do models represent reality? There are two conditions that scientific must satisfy to be representations of real systems, the aboutness condition and epistemic condition. In this article, I critically assess main fictionalist theories as representations, indirect fiction view direct view, with respect these conditions. And develop a novel proposal, what call ‘new models’. On akin fictional stories; they real-world phenomena if stand in denotation relation reality; enable knowledge reality via generation kinds theoretical hypotheses, model–world comparisons attributions.
